I seriously thought I was the only one with iphone problems. My phone has frozen up and restores itself 4 times in three months! Very frustrating! This hasn’t happened to any of my friends! I tried step 1, no luck, tried step 2 and wow, it shut off. The last time this happened I lost everything, this time, it worked! thank you sooo much!!

thank you so much that helped, all i had to do for mine is hold the power + home button at the same time. Because it wouldn’t shut down keeping the power button pressed.

My I phone is still frozen. When i try to power it off I couldn’t, because the screen was locked prventing me from sliding the bar. I was getting calls and I see the incoming call, but couldn’t anwer. My next option is to wait tile the battery dies and recharge. I will see if that does it.
